H.HAGO SHINES,KANO SHAKES AS 5TH CHUKKA AND LINETRALE CLASH.

The jostling over the MRS CUP came to and end yesterday in this year's edition of MTN Kano international tournament.H.hago won the cup by defeating Dantek.
In the Dantata cup category,Titans II sent YY Talba packing with 1/2 goal victory.It was a very tough match which ended 9 1/2 - 8 in favor of Titans II. Also, Goodfellows walloped Agad 11 goals-4 goals in the Dantata cup qualifier.Goodfellows paraded Bashir Dantata jnr.,Juan Roman,Abdulrahaman Muhammed and Tobi Edun while Agad paraded Glory Mbano,Adamu Yaro,Mumuni Musa and Ali Barjawi.

The high point of the day is the Emir of Kano Cup Match between 5th Chukka/AMG and Linetrale/Trafigura.Both teams have been rivals from time and have been defeating each other in various honours.
5th Chakka/Amg paraded top players like long-stroke meastro Babaginda Hassan,Murtala Mohammed,Argentine Internatioanl Ezekiel Martinez and another Argentine International Diego White.
Linetrale/Trafigura paraded Mustapha Fashinro,Dmien Duncan,Argentine International Mercello Pascal and Argentine International Pablo Geneti.
Two goals was awarded to Linetrale/Trafigura before role in,at the end of the second chukka,both teams had 3 goals each.The goals were in equal measure untill the 6th chakka when 5th chukka took the lead.
At the end of the last chakka,Fifth Ckukka won 8 goals to 7.
 Dignataries that watched the match were the Former President of Nigeria Polo Federation,Alh.Lawan Kaita,The President of Lagos Polo Club,Dr.Adedolapo Akinrele(SAN),The Patron of Fifth Chukka,Adamu Attah,The Marketting Manager MTN Nigera,Miss.Emamoke Ogoro amongst others.

MTN KANO INTERNATIONAL POLO TOURNEY RESUMES.

The MTN Kano International tournament resumes today 16th June,2011 after a short break.
Last weekend showcased the supremacy of teams over each other in the low goal category.It was indeed an unforgettable experience in the minds of the players and spectators.
This weekend, teams from all over the country will feature quality players from home and abroad. The high goal matches promise to be tough as teams are in high spirit. "We didn't come here to watch the horses",says a player from Lagos.
Today, Goodfellows will take on Tavia and Meridian Airlines against Titans 2 in the Dantata cup. The last match of the day shall be between The Titans and FIifth Chukka/AMG in the E.OFK.Cup category.
On Friday the 17th of June 2011, Agad will clash with Meridian Airlines,and Barbedos against YY Talba in the Dantata cup category.And of course the last match shall be between Fifth chukka/AMG and Linetrale trafigura in the E.OF K. Cup.

The MTN Kano International polo tournament has begun already with teams striving to make it to the finals at the low goal category.
The opening match was between Iban oil and A.I.K. A.I.K carried the day with 6-4 victory at stoppish time.
The second match ended up on a tie between H.Hugo and D'Afric with each team having 5 points a piece.
Titans/Spartans was not able clash strength to strength with Mokola as they lost 1 1/2 to 3.
In the Dangote cup honours,Bua walloped Suleiya oil 7 goals to 4 and Nakudu II  beat Nakudu I 4 1/2

Action again continued today as winners and loses were determined. Men are being gradualy seperated from boys.Dantek sent Seamans to the drawing board with 7 goals to 5 in the Dangote Cup category.
Ibadan Challenge had their sleep hanging on the ceiling as they were trashed 9 goals to 3 1/2 by Goodfellows. The act was masterminded by Argentine International, Santiago Senadez. And the last match of the day saw Ark Bollinger giving in to Lagos Machines as they lost 3-4 1/2
